Post subject:	Dying lawn, need help quick
I am in desperate need of a lawn consultant. Our lawn is 5 years old and we have tried an organic approach for the last 3 years. I haven't been very successful. Each year the weeds are getting worse and the bermuda turf is dying out. In many sections, when I go to pull up a weed, the grass around it has no root depth and the grass lifts up like carpet in a 1-2 foot area. I need to find a lawn consultant in the Dallas area that can tell me what is going on. I need to fix it fast. The HOA in our area has even sent us a letter to get the weeds under control. I want to stay organic, and I realize that I will probably have to replace areas of the lawn but I need help fast. Thanks for any help that the forum can provide! Ross

ADD HUMATE TO SOIL FIRST, ALSO ROCK DUST AND BIOCHAR HELP HOLD WATER...ROY

How often are you watering and for how long? How high/low are you mowing and how often? What have you fertilized with and when?

Some friends of ours used these guys http://www.greenlawncare.net/locations/Pennsylvania.html and were pleased with the results. They came and assessed their lawn and came up with a plan for them. Our friends were really pleased, they'd just moved into a new house and the garden was in a bit of a mess. They only use natural fertilizers too. Have a look, they're all over the US. Good luck.
