Looks like we're going to get the first freeze of the year this week and my lawn seriously needs to be mowed. Does it matter if I mow it before or after the freeze?

Sorry this didn't get answered earlier. Tall grass has a insulating effect so leaving the turf high during the winter is the best thing to do, but if you mowed,it's not a big deal - especially if you are organic.
