Ok, how in the heck do you spread CGM on your lawn without getting a yellow hand (not that I mind, I suppose). It just takes a long time spreading it by hand. I did it this weekend right before the rain (yipee!!!) and it took forever. I tried a hand-crank caster from my pre-all-natural days and it clogged up pretty quickly.

I use a push type spreader (Scotts) that whirls the product out in a big circle as you push. No matter what spreader you use, the CGM is a mess. The granulated CGM is not as messy although some people say it doesn't work quite as well for weed prevention (??) but should be great for fertilization purposes. Keep in mind that moist products will clog any spreader; keep dry!

Yeah, I'd heard you can use those push models. I'll look around and see if I can use a good one.

I've been keeping my CGM in the original sack rolled up in the garage. Any better suggestions?

Garage is OK if dry. If moist, put in a drier area; maybe a plastic bucket. Better yet, use it up all at once in various areas of the yard.
