I see there are several books by the Dirt Doctor. I'm mainly interested in organic lawn care & maintenance. Don't do any "gardening". May plant the occasional bush or flowerbeds, but mostly just need to learn about lawn care.

Which book should I go with?

Thanks,
Kevin

I would go to a good bookstore and look them over but I'd say his "Organic Manual" would be the best. It's very general about organic maintenance where as the other are specialized in veggie gardening, trees, herbs etc.

I tried going to bookstore & flipping thru the books. However, at least 2 titles are shrink wrapped, I assume to prevent doing so.

I ended up buying "Howard Garrett's Guide to Texas Organic Gardening" which seems to cover it OK. Combined with help from some folks on the forum, I should be good.

Thanks,
Kevin
