Since kbrew can't post a response, I'll ask the question...

Does anyone have White Dutch Clover in their landscape?

For those who do, do you find it aggressive?

I have it in three spots in my front lawn. I like the look, but depend largely on it reseeding itself vs my over seeding (don't really want to go to the trouble of cutting the lawn low enough to ensure seed contact with bare soil). The areas it is in are small, and don't seem to get any larger.

I've been working at the court house in Floyd County for the past several months. They have very small patches of clover in their mixed turf, and I have not noticed them getting any larger since March. I should walk out in the sunny parts of the turf to look for more - the ones I'm thinking of are in pretty good shade most of the day. One thing interesting is that they mow the lawn pretty short, but the clover continues to produce white flowers that hug the ground. So it doesn't seem very aggressive up here.

At the same time, I've heard of other people who report it grows very quickly. I wonder if they mow it higher or they have it out in the sun? Next Monday I'll walk the Floyd court house lawn in the sun and look for clover out there to see how it's doing.
