I kept telling myself I was going to plant St. Augs, but now I'm realizing zoysia might be a good choice - does anybody have any thoughts? |

It really depends on your traffic in the area and whether you have full sun or not. If you have full sun and low traffic, then Zoysia is a pretty good choice. Personally, I like Bermuda best in full sun. But, if you have partial shade, higher traffic, then go with the St. Augustine. Zoysia is just to slow a growing grass to take any traffic. It would have many bare spots very soon. |

Well, I live across the street from a middle school, and I think some of the kids might be walking through my yard, so I guess maybe St. Augs is the way to go. |

remember that st. augustine is very aggressive after it is established and will take over the nieghbors yard in a few years. if he/she has bermuda they may not be happy. it is also harder to push mow due to its thickness and is prone to brown-patch disease during high humidity and prolonged rains. |

My neighbors are all renters, like I am, but I'm crazy. Screw em if they don't like their new lawn overlords. |
