Post subject:  Celebration Grass

I have a 2 year Bermuda lawn. Love it, except in the back yard it is rather thin in the back. I tried mowing it shorter but it didn't help.
I am thinking that the neighbor's tree may be giving me too much shade.

Does anyone think that Celebration grass would help there? Also I have another section that gets too much water from down the hill and the same results happened, thin patchy grass.

Does bermuda not like this much water?

_______________
We planted Celebration on the side of our house last November. This area has about 4 hours of sun. There is also a drainage problem, due to my neighbors yard being higher than my yard. We have a retaining wall and french drains. And our gutter drains go directly into the french drains. We feel like we have done all we can to fix this problem. We replaced St.Augustine grass in this area many times. After much research, we decided to try Celebration Turf. The grass has done well with much rainfall and 12 inches of snow.
This past week we removed all the St.Augustine from our backyard. The Celebration Sod arrives on Monday.
I found this website to be helpful:
sodsolutions.com

Good luck!
