Our crepe myrtles have seed balls and we want to know when do we get the seeds off. We want to try and plant them. Do we wait until they fall off? Or what?

As soon as the seed balls or heads start to open up you can cut them off and them plant them in the spring. You could start them early indoors. There are 100s of seeds in each little ball. Barely even put them under the dirt and then keep moist with a baggie and rubberband over the top of the pot. good luck
