Hello fellow organic gardening folks. Just a quick question. It seems that I do not have the correct recipe for killing fire ants. I have used the weed killing mixture of vinegar, orange oil, and liquid soap to kill weeds. Appears to be working.

Recently purchased Garrett Juice. Thought that with the weed killling mixture I could add the juice for the ant mounds. Not sure. Would someone please advise as to the correct mixture for the fire ant mounds. Are they really killed?

Listed below is the Dirt Doctor's recipe. Yes, it really works. You can combine Garrett Juice with it but that would probably be a waste of product. You want to kill the weed so don't add anything that might keep it hanging on or coming back. Search this site (DirtDoctor.com) & this discussion board for most of your questions.

The "soap" you use is normally chemicals, etc. Use real SOAP !!
