I think you need to do your own homework for school, and not ask us to do it for you. You may search the forum to see if these have been discussed here, and if you find interesting results in your search elsewhere, you may tell us about them here.

To begin with for your research you ought to try Google Scholar.

Composting in any manner really isn't that hard. In addition, it's a subject that is well covered and easily searched.

You've got hot composting, vermicomposting, lasagna composting, slow composting, "just let it rot" composting. There are composting bins for tiny apartments (usually vermicomposting), and huge bins for commercial purposes.

He is asking for technical descriptions of and between various schools of thought to do with composting, all but one apparently originating in Europe. He isn't asking us for our advice on composting, he is looking for someone to do his research for his homework assignment. If he wants to post the results here, I'd be happy to look at it, but I'm not taking the time to do his assignment. The same goes for "where to look." Any of us would have to look it up, so he needs to do his own research.

I help people do this all of the time at a university library. It is one thing to show people how to do their own research when they tell you what they're looking for, it is another for someone to come and just ask point blank for the results. The answer is - google it - or go to a library where someone has databases that can give the information he needs and show him how to do his own research next time.
