Ok, I am frustrated.

I have run down every claim of 10% Vinegar source, to only have the store employees deny that they carry it. To date, I have checked at least 13 claims. I have also offered to special order by the case, with the same results.

Does someone have a "real" source? I identify a real source is one with a specific location, name of person, and phone number that I can call to verify before running out in anticipation.

I assure you, it exists. I personally bought a gallon two weeks ago for $4.99, which is a lot cheaper than the 20% I paid previously at Lowes. If you're having to pay for shipping, however, you may be better off with the 20... I dunno.

$2.99 for one gallon of 9% vinegar at HEB grocery stores. Just don't get the apple cider variety...

Any place that sells 'pickling vinegar' will do... it is typically 9 - 10%. Check in the canning section in addition to the vinegar/oils section.
