Sigh... I've been watching the ten and 15 day forecasts for North Texas and it looks like we will get out first nights below freezing next week.

I am not quite ready with all my pansy and violas I've been growing from seed, since there are mixtures I would like to coordinate colors if I can.

Question: If Pansies have been outside and have been hardened off to the day/night temperatures, will a 30 degree evening set them back badly? I am planning to clean out my beds this weekend and plant the following weekend but if I have to, I can do it all before the freeze.

THoughts?

I don't know how hardy your pansies are yet, but I have a freeze question for the veggie forum too.

Fortunately it looks like we have a little more time so I am leaving the summer plantings alone til next weekend.
