I am having a terrible problem with fleas and nothing I have tried gets rid of them. We are calling them sand fleas, whether they are or not is debatable. We have a huge pine tree in our back yard and I don't know if this is the problem or not. My dog is literally scratching himself to death. We have sprayed with everything we can find and nothing seems to work inside or outside. If someone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am sure someone else has more on this, but go to dirtdoctor.com and search for "flea", and do the same on this forum. I assume you mean you sprayed with poisons. I used those at one time and all I got were retarded fleas, they could still bite and breed. These are the things I did, nematodes, diatomaceous earth (food grade) in the pet food, I have seen on this forum where you can spray the house and pet with orange TKO, try to find that thread. Also, fire ants eat flea and tick larvae I have heard, so I don't try to eradicat them. I haven't had any problem with them on my outdoor cats in spite of the fact that I am surrounded by yards with dogs. Good luck!
