Can anyone suggest the best organic product(s) to use on all my plants before I move them into the greenhouse for the winter? I did not treat my plants last year before moving them in, and I had some problems with disease and pests.

I use diatomatous earth on my greenhouse shelves and mixed in with my water. This works great on ants, grasshoppers and generally any bug that crawls. If needed, I use the garlic/pepper (or orange oil) spray posted on this web site. If things get way out of control, neem works well on pests & desease.

Kathe Kitchens posted the following on Oct. 26 in Home Brews. It may help you also.

"A soil drench of 1 cup compost tea, 1 cup molasses & 1/2 cup orange oil (or 1 oz. d-limonene concentrate Orange TKO) mixed with a gallon of water, which is essentially the fire ant drench, should rid your soil of most pests that you would find unappealing indoors. Pepper tea should chase away the ones hiding in the foliage. I've used this method to very good effect several times."
