Is there a way to post pictures of plants for IDing? I have tried loading a picture on my web site and then giving a link in a post but that didn't work. I think that is because of my web site provider.
Any info would be appreciated.

Have you tried to copy and paste it into the post box? I noticed that in the Lawns section, there is a post with 4 or 5 pictures included.
By the way, I have also wondered how it is done. If this doesn't work. you may want to send Leslie (admin) an email asking how to do it so they will show in the post box.

I tried the "img" button at the top of the posting page and I am sure that is how you would put pictures in the body of the post. Mine didn't work, there was only an "X" in a box showing that the picture didn't link. I don't understand why it won't. I can put the link in the post and it doesn't work but if I just type the link in my address bar, it works fine. I guess it is Tripod not letting me link to pictures. ???
Anyway, I will try again later with a different link to a different web site.

If you've posted the photo on your website, you should be able to paste the link into a message box - then highlight the link and click the IMG button - that will tag the link and the image will appear in the post. BUT, you're right, perhaps your provider disables remote linking of images - which may be why it doesn't show up. Some providers do this.
