Ok, I went to a compost class in Waco a few months ago and here at Warren Labs, we have a lot of waste and we dont recycle or compost. I am going to try to get everyone here to help me out. Since we are a business, we have a lot of waste of cardboard and paper. My only problem is that I don't have a nitrogen source. At least, not one I can think of. I am the horticulturalist here and we are in the process of building a retail center and making the property lush with flower beds and plants everywhere, so the compost would definately benefit me and the business. If someone could give me some consulting on how I can get this huge project under way, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I think you need to shread card board and paper. Are there any hore farms close by - they will usually give you free manure if you haul it away. This will be big project - do you have access to front end loader and water to keep moisture levels at needed levels. Go along streets and ask if you can haul grass clippings and leaves - they don't need to be in land fills. If you can find any old hay it would be great.
