Wondering if we need to mulch our first year strawberry plants for winter here 25 miles north of Denton. They're looking good, would hate to lose them. Any other tips on strawberries? We've been a certified grower for the area for 15 years, but still and will always need help and information. Thanks, Mel

I just came from boggy creek organic farm in AUSTIN. They had theirs covered with row cover. You might want to e-mail them to see if they did it to avoid a freeze or to protect some potential berries.
