I have some plants that the flowers do not bloom. my Morning glories grow wonderfully, but no flowers. Marigolds, also, good greenery but no blooms.

It sounds as if you have good nitrogen - for the greenery, but not as much potassium as flowers need to bloom. Also, for some flowering plants, if they are too "happy", they won't bloom as much! Nasturtiums are especially leafy if the soil is too rich! If your soil is too fertile, you may want to side dress with compost that contains "high-potassium" components, like banana peels or coffee grounds.

Your plants may be experiencing some heat-delay. Morning glories and their relatives, along with other plants like tomatoes, tend to stop flowering (the flower buds may be produced but will abort) during periods of intense heat. Marigolds usually require some shearing in late summer to rejuvinate for fall (if they haven't already fallen victim to spider mites).
