CGM didn't work very well as a herbicide last year because of the long wet period. You still got the fertilizer and soil building value and it will take less material this year to do the trick. You might also try adding some dry molasses and humate. As soon as humic acid is present and active in the soil, grass burrs will be no more.
I spend alot of time at a resort near Decatur I want to encourage them to use more organic products. We have a real problem with GRASS BURRS.
When is the best time of year to put out CGM and in what quantity. Also what are the rates you would recommend for dry molasses and humate. I may be taking on the projet of controlling the grass burrs myself in some of the target area's and I need to determine the cost per acre and application schedule.
