My father-in-law uses RoundUp by the truck load....he even covers the vegies in the garden and sprays the weeds. He claims it does not get into the soil so it is OK.

What say you?

Jim

Go to the home page on dirtdoctor.com and do a search of "roundup". You will find out all you need to know about how bad it is. But you might ask your father where he thinks it goes.

After you read all about Roundup, take a look at information on the other glyphosates and share all that information with him. Just give it to him. And pass on his offer to share what he grows in that Roundup soaked garden. I know it's hard to pass up home grown veggies, but you'll be glad you did. I'd be willing to bet his vegetables have more pesticide residue than a lot of conventionally grown store-bought stuff. He will argue with you but remember he's listening to the drivel that comes out of the advertising departments for these products. It may be maddening, but keep trying to get him to listen; it took me years but my stubborn old dad finally went organic!

We have had him read alot about it. However, my father-in-law says on the label it says it is OK in veggie gardens and anything in enough quanity can cause birth defects.
