I am new to growing herbs. Last spring I planted Sage and Lemon Thyme. They made it through the winter and now are flowering, should cut off the flowers? The plants are large and healthy. Please adivse, thank you.

Which herbs are they? Some herbs are not perennials. Herbs like cilantro are annuals and they bolt, or flower then go to seed when it gets warm so enjoy them while you can. You can also replant them in the fall. Parsley will have a season of lovely growth then the next season they flower. Herbs like oregano, thyme, rosemary...are perennials and you can have them for years.

Both of those are hardy perennial herbs. My thyme blooms off and on through the summer. You can trim off the blooms of the sage, but even if you don't it will not go away after blooming.
