You can use a balanced product like Lady Bug or Medina fertilizer that will improve the health of your turf and soil.

Thanks Doug I will look for it in my local garden shop. I have only been doing organic for about one year so still a lot to learn.

Be sure you find the word organic on the label. Many, if not all, Medina products do not carry that word.

Every soil test shows low nitrogen. In an organic soil, they should be testing for protein. Protein is made up of amino acids which all have nitrogen molecules. The continual processing and reprocessing of amino acids by microbes is how organic soils get the nitrogen they need.
