Hi and thank you for taking the time to respond. We had our soil tested this year at the Auburn University soil testing lab. I was a little shocked when the results came back. Soil ph had risen from 5.7 last year to 7.6 this year. My question is should I use sulfur to bring the ph back down or just wait for the soil to warm up and re-check. How much will soil warmth and microbial activity bring down the ph? Also...will compost and/or coffee grounds be enough to bring the ph down into the 6.5 - 6.8 range for spring planting?
Thank you.
