does anyone know the amount of H2O2 to add to rain barrels to make the water usable for chickens?

I have the internal use 35% type that I'll dilute to 3%

Youmighy want to pask this in the Farming & Ranching forum. Is this for just cleaning the barrels or for adding it to the water they will be drinking? It is food grade, right?

That being said, this is what I found from http://www.dfwx.com/h2o2usage.htm:

For small animals (dogs and cats) use 1 ounce 35% hydrogen peroxide to 1-gallon water for their bath water. For drinking water, the dilution should be no stronger than 4 drops G.O.E. 35% h2o2 per 1-gallon water.
