Need to plant shrubs along house in Garland, TX, My house faces East and most will be on the south side of house (does not get evening sun). What are some good shrubs for this?

Thanks,

It really depends on your preferences and if it's shaded east or exposed east. I personally really enjoy Indian Hawthorns and Dwarf Burford Hollies, although both are very cliche and common. Texas Sage is growing in popularity it seems, and Boxwoods have been used for decades. Nandinas, barberries, and Roses are also possibilities.

Some bushes that would be good, evergreen, and bloom would be gardenia and azalias.
