with a container patio plant. Wish I could tell you the specific varitey, but lost the plant stick, or never had it. Plant is in a light colored clay with a healthy soil mix which included compost, lava sand, and greensand with plenty of pot shards at the bottom for drainage. It resides on a covered patio that is oriented to receive a full day of western exposure. It overwintered in the garage just fine. Looked good Spring and the first part of June. Now the stalks are turning grey (or gray
) and dying. I have tried keeping the soil dry as I have read it prefers that, and I have tried watering it every other day. I have never had great luck, well no luck at all really growing lavender before but this particular plant has done the best thus far.
