This is my first season growing cucumbers. I'm growing Sweet Slice and have enjoyed a few so far. However the leaves are starting to look rough and I have identified several critters on the leaves as spotted cucumber beatles. Is there an organic solution to getting rid of these bad boys?
Thanks,
Wendie In Marion

Thank you. I will have to get some garlic/pepper/seaweed and spray. I think they are starting on my green beans. I think it is to late for the Neem Oil. Wll it help to treat the bed prior to spring planting next year?

I don't believe you can pretreat for these types of pests.

I was wrong about my last reply. According to Howard's Bug Book, you can treat your garden/yard with beneficial nematodes and it will help with this pest.

Probably a silly question -- with the garlic/pepper spray, do I spray the soil or the plants? I found one in my veggies yesterday, need to stop them!

Thanks.
