Whats eating a hole through my tomatoes and peppers? The hole is about the size of the end of my little finger and they eat clean though to the other side. On the tomatoes I found some small black catepillars (dead) so maybe my neem or thuracide worked to some extent. Any ideas? Thanks

Normally the tobacco hornworm caterpillar is the culprit. They can get quite large and are very beautiful and will turn into a large hawk moth. I've had them eat my entire pepper plant and do a lot of damage on my tomatoes. You may want to douse the plant with DE and check it often for the caterpillars.
