I have a lone orange crowned warbler at my feeder - actually he's eating bark butter. I've only seen the one and wonder if this would be normal? I've never seen this bird before and it took some time to identify him/her. He also eats grapes. I haven't recognized any other birds that may be a mate by appearance or feeding habit. I live in a subdivision and don't have a large diversity of birds. Have you had any experience with this bird? I'm just north of Dallas. Any input is appreciated Thanks.

Orange-crowned Warblers do winter in North Texas. I have them feeding on suet.
