Not the most typical backyard bird down here, but 13 Canada Geese just flew over my backyard, and a Red-tailed Hawk has been circling low. The cooler weather seems to have stirred things up a little.

Do you know if vultures migrate at all this time of year? This week I saw what looked like a huge turkey vulture, biggest I've seen around here, but very black. No red head. What's the next size up vulture that lives in or passes through the Fort Worth area?
