A couple of weeks ago some of our tomato plants just wilted. We saw some white slime on our soil. We cleaned it all really well and still lost several plants. Now it has turned to a white powdery stuff that is on the stem at ground level. We pulled the affected plants up and the stem is 'woody' and white. The roots still looked great under the soil but they do have some of the white powdery stuff on them. Is there anything we can do to stop this. We have lost tomato plants, pepper plants, and our peas. Please help! Thanks, Bettye
