Howdy to everyone! I just learned about this garden forum from something on television. I sure am glad as I couldn't find many garden forums for Texas gardening.

My hubby and I live way out in the country and raise beef cattle for sale. We have a huge yard with lots of oak trees. We have several plant and flower gardens and try to have a veggie garden each year. I am a retired State employee and retirement is wonderful!! Hubby isn't retired yet but is anxiously waiting. :D We have only grown tomatoes in our veggie garden simply because we don't have a whole lot of time. Hopefully someday we'll be able to have a veggie garden with lots and lots of good veggies. We care for my senior parents who both are in poor health.

I'm glad to have found this garden forum and look forward to meeting everyone!
