Round hard shelled black & red bugs have been sucking the juice out of yucca plant. The leaves are drying up and dying from the tips inward. And moving from the bottom of the plant to the top. I have sprayed with carrot juice and orange oil, and also washed with Lemon Joy, but they seem to be thriving! Can anyone tell me what the bugs are called and how do I get rid of them? I purchased a spray bottle of Plant Wash, but that wouldn't even start to do this large plant. (I couldn't find the product in a concentrate form, only a premixed spray bottle.) I guess the plant could also have a disease plus the bugs. I need a solution quick or it will surely die this summer. Been spraying it for about 4 years and they only get worse. They showed up in the late winter time this year in Central TX. Thanks
