 Post subject: Cactus bed

Several folks have given me several cactus & succulent plants that instead of growin them inside I want to put them in a raised bed. What kind of amendments do I add to the soil to raise the bed a couple of inches

Any top soil or subsoil is good. Sand is good. Decomposed granite is also good if you can get it cheap. As long as you are mounding it up, almost anything you get should be good.
