Our place is called Roland Farm. There was a little town at the curve by our house that was named Roland, Texas. Had a blacksmith shop, store, post office, cotton gin and about 30-50 people. My neighbors grandfather ran the general store. Out of respect for the people who settled this area, we took the name, Roland Farm.
