I am having a problem with rats. They are on top and inside of our
outside kitchen. Also, inside the grill. I find their droppings on the
stairs and benches. I don't raise veg so no problem there. My garden
is mainly native plants - no problem there. Any ideas?

I would suggest setting up lots of normal rat traps throughout your home to kill the ones inside the house.

Maybe using more natural mulches and organic fertilizers for plants outside, will give the rats an excuse to hide in your mulch and garden and stay outside. That is safe and natural.

Happy Gardening!

William,

There are no rats INSIDE the house. We have a kitchen area OUTSIDE on the patio. That is where they are.

Also, I AM already ALL organic.

I guess I could just set traps.

Thank you for your assistance.

Pam

Beware of setting traps outside. You might get birds or other friendly critters. That would be unfortunate.
