I just recently transplanted some wood ferns that I brought overnight from East TX. The fronds have died back to the ground, but I heard they are very drought resistant. If I water them daily and keep them moist, should I expect them to send out new shoots this summer? Thanks.

you should not have to water them daily. They do not need to stay so wet. Give them time to dry just a bit before watering or they may rot. I'm assuming they are in part or full shade?

Thanks for the help. Yes, they are in pretty much full shade.
