I have a beautiful and tall auralia sitting by a glass patio door. I think with the inside heat and the cold air that come in when we open and close the door, is stressing the plant out a bit. Unfortunately this is the best place for it and over the last 2 years it has really thrived there. It's losing a few more leaves that normal and one of the stalk started shriveling it the top. I was wondering if feeding it a diluted oranic fertilizer would be appropriate in the winter. It has been awhile since it was fed.

I am not sure of the auralia variety but it has large roundish leaves...it's definitely not a ming, which I also have.

Yes but something very mild like Garrett Juice or coffee grounds. Also cut back on the watering if you haven't already. Most people water interior plants too much and that could be causing the leaf drop.

Thanks Howard. I definitely wait until it is dry before watering. I will use a mild fertilizer....
