:?: I have now removed all the liquid from the barrell for which I have used to brew my compost tea. I am now wondering on how I should go about storing about 7 gallons of my brew. I have used plastic bottles with leds left loose and placed them on a shelf out in my shed that is not insulated, is this ok or should I store them in a different place? Also is there a shelf life on my home brewed compost tea?

As far as I'm concerned, the shelf life is about 15 minutes.

I believe it MUST be used immediately following the moment you turn off the aerator. As soon as the air stops, the air starts getting used up and the when it's gone, the aerobic microbes die and the entire batch becomes anerobic. Best use for anerobic tea is to pour on weeds or back into the compost pile for redigestion by the aerobic guys.

Use it all right now and if you need some later, make more.
