I have a Norfolk Pine Tree that is over 20 years old. I keep it on my back porch all year long, except for when it gets below 40 degrees. Then I bring it into the house or garage to keep it from freezing. I so want to keep the tree because it has alot of sentimental value, but I am not sure what to do. It doesn't seem to be thriving anymore. I have it planted in a deep terra cotta pot but there doesn't appear to be any new growth on it for a long time. Also, all the bottom branches are gone and the tree has only about 10 branches all at the top. Is there anyway I could cut it and root it. I am open for any and all suggestions to help me save this tree. Thank you very much.

Lisa-
Take some pictures of the tree and post them here. Search for instructions. My first thought is root bound. Is that a possibility? What has been your fertilization program?

Dear Tony, my husband and I are pretty sure the tree is rootbound. I bought a larger (wider) container and am going to replant the tree. Also, I have used fish emulsion but to be honest with you, I haven't done it recently. I'm not sure how to post a photo here.
