 Post subject: Yellow St. Augustine

My husband is concerned about the yellow St. Augustine in our yard. I am thinking that it is new growth. That particular area really had a hard time last year, but we have pulled the dried grass out and the runners are green. We have fertilized with Lady Bug and dry molasses. Have we over-done it or can it be new growth? Thanks for your help...

Probably just the cool weather. Might want to apply some greensand.

When did you fertilize and when did you check the color. New growth should be very dark green if you have fertilized at least 3 weeks prior.
