I have read a bunch of y'alls suggestions for green cleaning & learned a
LOT of things.
My question is:Will Boraxo & hot water help get rid of distemper virus?[/u]
We have 50 or so feral cats (young & old) that have been spreading the
virus. We managed to vaccinate some of the tame kittens, but 50% of them
are untouchable & trap-wise. Not to mention the expense.
I appreciate any suggestions!

You can spray the place heavily with hydrogen peroxide. It is very effective in most cases on bacterial and viral diseases. Use the drug store/grocery store product full strength or dillute the ag products to 3% concentration. One of the listeners reported on the show that the same spray had completly cured mosaic virus on squash plants. The "experts" say that can't be done.

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I will get right to it. The borax water
I tried before probably didn't kill many germs, but it smells better. ;)

Sincerely,
Nicki

The problem with borate products are soluble and end up in the water supply.
