I have had great success down here in College Station with the following program: March 15, July 15, October 15

Horticultural Cornmeal
Molasses Feed
Garden-Ville Volcanite
Gardenville Soil Food 7-2-2

+ monthly soil drenches (1 gallon) with Medina Hasta-Gro Plant food

I have 3 Mexican fan palms and 2 Mexican/California hybrid fan palms (plus an incredibly healthy Pindo palm--it has recently produced a flower bud in it's 2nd year in the ground!) I have utilized the above program for all these palms and have witnessed vigorous growth in spite of our drought conditions and 100 degree + days.

That is great! It does seem like a lot of fertilizer to use, though. Thanks for the report!
