I am having a huge problem with a type of grass that has taken over my garden.
It is very fine and grows tall-2-3 ft. It grows by crawling and then attaching itself to the ground with spider shaped root.

Tried pulling it at the places where it is rooted, but it's endless work. Sprayed 20%vinegar--no go, and I did it on a hot day ect...............according to all the advice. I will not use a chemical.
WHAT IS THIS STUFF?
I looked up nut grass on this web sit, but there was no picture.

It dies in winter but the roots are just waiting and it's back in the spring.

Did you ever get an answer? I do not see it here, but was wondering if you possibly posted the same question in the Lawn Care http://www.dirtdoctor.com/forum/viewfor ... c440c73ac7 or
Weeds http://www.dirtdoctor.com/forum/viewfor ... c440c73ac7 section of the discussion board...
