Hi There,

I have been lurking around here for months trying to learn how to go organic. One of the first things I learned was the importance of compost. I thought I would share a free resource.

Flower Mound has a FREE Master Compost Class that is excellent. It is taught by Larry Wilhem, who is an excellent communicator on the subject. The last class in this series is Novemer 11, 12 & 13. Beyond the excellent knowledge you will receive, you will also receive a compost thermometer, a compost bin, a book on composting, a resource guide, a worm bin complete with worms, a t-shirt, lunch on Sat, and refreshments throughout the class. Did I mention that it was free?

Here's a little info on Larry:

Here's the link to the Master Compost class flyer:

http://www.flower-mound.com/ehs/Master%20Composter%20Class%20Brochure-2nd%20Community%20Education.pdf

If you ever had a desire to learn how to make compost, how to speed up the process, understand the "secret" formula, this is the class for you.

Disclaimer: I am not a part of any of the groups underwriting or sponsoring this project. I just thought it was great fun.

If you have questions, feel free to ask.

I live in Waco and took the Master Composters in Waco in 1999 and was certified in 2000. I know Larry and go by our class here each year to talk with him because it is always a pleasure to visit with him. I would highly recommend anyone that has the opportunity to take the class.

There have not been any problems that I'm aware of. I just tried it (10/25) and it worked. You could try this one:
