Can anyone tell me if canna flower's and leaves are edible? They look pretty enough to eat. I already use rose hips and hibiscus blooms for tea and in salads. I am 100% organic.
Thanks in advance for any info on this.

Good question!

I don't really know. However I know they are all related to the banana tree family and elephant ear family and taro root family. These all love lots of compost mulches and lots of frequent compost teas, for large foliage growth.

Taro roots and bananas are definitely edible.

Hi JV,
I think you're going to love this site. You'll be pleasantly surprised about canna.
