I am new to this AND there is not much Natural Way product here in GA. I want to kill some poison Ivy, but do not want to harm the nearby lake or the wild plants in the area. Any otherwiase harmless ideas. Please do NOT suggest pulling the sucker up.

Hi Jan, I'm pretty new here, too, but if you'll do a search on poison ivy in the 'weeds' forum, you'll find it's been discussed at great length! I think it was mostly cutting back and spraying with 10% - 20% vinegar repeatedly. Be careful with it, vinegar works well but its not picky...it kills (or at least damages) anything it touches. Maybe someone with more experience will jump in. If not, check the previous posts. I've been lucky..I don't have any at my new house (knocking on wood right now!)
Good luck :-D
