Help! How can I get rid of them for good?

remove them by hand and back off the water!

other than that as long as the world has not been destroyed by nueclear bobmbing we will always have shrooms!

If they came from the rain, then let nature take its course. If they come from your watering, then back off on the watering. You should be watering no more than once a week in the heat of summer. If your grass wilts within a week, then you did not water long enough. I water each zone for the equivalent of 2 hours all at once and let it go for a week. Everyone's soil and situation is different but not that much.
