Here is a picture I found online.
http://weedeco.msu.montana.edu/class/lres443/weedphotos/field%20bindweed.jpg

This is what mine looks like. I tried taking a pic with my digital but it isn't working right.

I noticed that this heart shaped vine is growing up in my hedges.

When I did research on "bindweed" it shows pictures with white flowers. I haven't noticed any flowers just the leaves.

What do I do with it? should I leave it or dig it up?

Thanks
Allison!

Bindweed is a terribly invasive weed from the morning glory family with roots that go down 4 feet in the first year. If you are not prepared to live with it for a while I would take it out. Our goats won't even eat it.

WOW thank you for that!
I did know that it was in the morningglory family that's why i was wondering why people didn't like it.

Today I pulled up a bunch that were growing in my hedges.

Thanks for the info!
I will defiantly keep pulling it up when I see it.

Allison-
I have that horrible vine, too, and it's choking my 4 O'Clocks & sunflowers. I will try 10% vinegar on the areas where its growing & no flowers are near but I'm out of vinegar right now. Unwinding it from other plants is tedious & pulling it seems to rejuvenate it, I do it anyway.
