[size=12][size=18]I have a peach tree that is covered with little black growth ALL over the branches. It almost looks like little snails. I can pick or scrape it off in my hand. I have 2 peach trees and one is covered with these things and it does not look like it will produce any fruit this year, the other tree is beginning to show signs of these black spots although fruit is forming on that tree. I should add that the infected peach tree was heavily pruned last year about October. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be, or how to get rid of it? I'd greatly appreciate any advise or ideas you may have. I posted this question in the pest and disease forum and someone suggested it may be scale, but I should post it here. Sure hope someone can help
Thank you
